What happened at the roadshow?

We stopped off at 15 locations across the North West, including Liverpool, Wigan and Altrincham. Over 500 people attended, with 157 taking part in our challenges – it was fantastic to meet so many of you.
A big shout out to the two decorators who travelled almost 2 hours to meet the team at one of our locations. But who can blame them?
With paint vouchers, goodie bags and free breakfast up for grabs, the roadshow was hard to resist. Our Team handed out 400 goodie bags and 390 Armstead Trade paint vouchers over the three weeks!
What you learnt from us

Whatever product you use in our range, Armstead Trade gets the job done. And this was something we were eager to show on the road.
Our team were raring and ready to give out advice. We covered everything from spray suitability within the Armstead Trade range, to our water-based paint solutions and the benefits they bring. We also chatted about the number of coats needed, assuring attendees that Armstead Trade needs 2 (maximum 3) coats. For more info about our products, read our product guide.
What’s more, the free vouchers you walked away with meant that you could put our products to the test in your own time.
What we heard from you
The roadshow also gave us the opportunity to hear more from you and what you think of our products. Many of you were impressed with the quality, coverage of Armstead Trade products, plus how easy they are to use for the price you pay. We really appreciated the feedback!
We also heard more about how you use our products. There were comments on Armstead Trade Contract Matt being the perfect solution for new plaster or thinned down as a mist coat – something that comes in handy when working on new builds.




Who won the on-air competition?
On top of that, Fix Radio listeners had the chance to win a £1,000 voucher to spend on a relaxing (or activity packed!) weekend away. To enter the competition, listeners were invited to tell an interesting story about when they went the extra mile for a customer to ‘Get the Job Done.’
Hannah Parker was our winner, and a worthy one at that. Read her story on how she went above and beyond:
“I had a customer booked in for laminating fitting. The material deposit was paid and I was going to fit it for them when they were on holiday. The day before they were due to go on holiday, their car was stolen and house burgled. They still went on holiday because they had saved for years. They decided to cancel the work I’d planned to do, which was understandable as they had lost a lot. I returned the full deposit as a goodwill gesture. Then, while they were away, I did the job anyway free of charge and as a surprise. I also paid a company to do a full house clean!”
What’s next?
We already can’t wait to get back out there and meet more of you. So, keep your eyes peeled for future chances to hang out with the Armstead Trade team and bag yourself some goodies.
